Strip it down, grease it up, push, push it through
Cut the sky with a new fresh attitude

Feel the ground lose its edge, watch it disappear
Picasso knows if it kills then you volunteer

Clever wit, perfect fit in Adidas shoes
Get you noticed here in show biz then we’ll let it cruise

I wanna rush but the vibe says take it slow
‘Cause all the hits geeky bits are in my iPod yo
I take it wherever I go

Eyes wide open, rules are broken
When you’re a mile high
Get away and find a ray of hope
Come on, touch the sky
There’s no time like now

Chorus:
Na na na na, na na na na
I got my wings
Na na na na, na na na na
Kitty Hawk
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

Flying boys, flying girls made it just in time
‘Cause if you’re late to the gate there’s a stupid line

If you’re hot I saved a spot you know it’s oversold
But if your breath stinks, the comments are closed
Go back to YouTube

Eyes wide open, rules are broken
When you’re a mile high
Get away and find a ray of hope
Come on, touch the sky
There’s no time like now

Na na na na, na na na na
I got my wings
Na na na na, na na na na
Kitty Hawk
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

  1. That’s a pretty catchy tune. Good work!

  2. James F.No Gravatar says:

Great! I’m hearing all kinds of live band stuff with this song. Thanks for the inspiration!

  3. Thanks Joshua!

James, grab your rig and let’s play it! :)

  4. KarlNo Gravatar says:

I’m sorry, I never say this kind of things, but this time I gotta say “Give me back those 4:08 minutes I’ve just wasted”. The song as an exercise is nice, but that’s pretty much it. Sorry.

  5. Well, Karl, it took me about 15 seconds to read your comment and I wish I could have that time back too.

  6. AndrewNo Gravatar says:

    Nice groove!
What’s the effect on the lead vocal? It’s got a bit of an “electronic” sound – I like it!

  7. Thanks, Andrew! Lead vocal is doubled and sent to a dash of stereo delay. Other than that, just some basic EQ and compression.

  8. JbagnatoNo Gravatar says:

    That some beautiful funkyness, bro.

  9. BrianNo Gravatar says:

    Nice vibe and altitude!

  10. lazarNo Gravatar says:

cool, but verse is too long IMO and the chorus is not catchy enough
