Graham,

That was very well done and informative. I twittered this page to my followers. I see you have be blogging since 2005. Way to go.
I am getting a iMac next year so I am looking for sw tools. Textmate is a winner. Can't wait to move off xp and back to Mac(last used at OS9). I especially want the word research features with a REAL dictionary.
BTW, I used to live in Watertown in 85-90.

Thanks for the comment, Brett. I've used Snapz Pro and Audio Hijack Pro a lot and love both of those apps. But for this screencast, I used Screenflow. It's my favorite screen capture app and it's very easy to use. Another one to check out is iShowU, which I've used a lot and is my second favorite of the bunch. Good luck!

Thanks, Graham - very helpful video and much appreciated. I look forward to getting TextMate and checking this out, plus the GTD package. Totally different kettle of fish than BBEdit or just similar idea plus more useful features for these kind of tasks?

Also - you totally have your act together with the vidcast, very elegant. Can you give me any pointers on what screen/camera-capture software you use? I have Snapz Pro and Audio Hijack and was starting to look at MacVCR and the Leopard podcast producer client, which seems confusing due to the reliance on Leopard server...
