You can also insert time using the locators. Create a cycle the length you want inserted at the first bar of your song and choose Region > Cut/Insert Time > Insert Silence Between Locators. The problem I have, is that where I originally only needed 4 counts of empty introduction to the start of drums for the song, I now want to record a longer intro to add effects, -say, 8 counts in. I have desperately tried to fathom out a way of adding empty recording time before the start of the track, but I'm lost. Do you have any advice please? Many thanks, James Hi Graham,
