Just to clarify, I didn't run out of thoughts. The horns and synth at the end were thought out and carefully arranged. Besides, I can think of many songs that end instrumentally on a vamp so to say that a song "shouldn't" do that is obviously not a hard rule but your personal preference. Also, your comments are regarding the arrangement and not the song. The lyrics and melody make up the song. Not the instrumentation or production. C'mon when you prop yourself up with a theory shouldn't you practice what you preach? A song shouldn't have almost a minute of the same progression with just extra fills at the end.
