NLP Advanced Language Patterns Mastery Day 36: Sleight of Mouth: Model of the World

Sleight of Mouth: Model of the World – Today, when someone states a limiting belief, use the following Sleight of Mouth patterns and notice if their experience of the limiting belief shifts. Be sure to maintain rapport as you deliver the pattern.

The purpose of the Model of the World pattern is to “loosen” beliefs. This pattern “drives a wedge” between what’s real and our experience.

Model of the World – Awareness or Description Predicates: picture, describe, view, see, suppose, etc.

“So the way you picture the situation is that you need more confidence?”

“So you describe your situation as needing more money?”

Model of the World – Questioning Tonal Shift:

“So you want to make more MONEY?”

“So you want MORE confidence?”
