Radiohead Says Name Your Price, But They Are Not The First

Radiohead is releasing their new album In Rainbows next week for any price you want to pay! But they’re not the first.

The Freakonomics blog points out how her variable-pricing scheme ends up bringing in more cash than if she were to sell it through iTunes. BoingBoing calls her “the gold standard for a digital artist’s business.”

If you’re looking for a business to model, this is the one.
