Songwriter, Recording Artist, and Blogging Musician
I wrote this for my nephew who is due to be born in 15 days.

The Sermon is a blues written and recorded in 1957 by jazz legend, Jimmy Smith. I haven’t learned the complete melody yet but I thought I would take a stab at playing it from memory. After all, it’s just an F blues.
This song is about planning an exciting future with a fine woman.
A funky blues about a devious woman.
This is a song about showing up.
This song was inspired by Dance Punk artists like LCD Soundsystem and !!! and by an episode of WNYC’s Radio Lab on the Wright Brothers.
This was an exercise in using Ultrabeat. Along with a Nu School Breaks Kit is a Grind Bass and Funk Organ.
I started this just over a week ago but have been too busy to spend much time writing or recording. Lame.
Practicing walking bass and soloing over Bb rhythm changes on the hammond organ at 195bpm.
Cleaned up 120bpm electronic groove in Dmin. It’s multiple takes of me playing over top of everything else.
I'm a songwriter and recording artist who sings, plays keyboards, and explores the vast world of sound hoping to find some magical moments along the way. I'm also a Mac geek.
