I started this just over a week ago but have been too busy to spend much time writing or recording. Lame.
I wrote this with two things in mind: (1) working out, (2) a heist. So if you can imagine me training for The Italian Job, then you get the picture.

(1 votes, average: 3 out of 5)This is an iPod recording in the key of Gmin (Dorian) at 100bpm. Hammond and wah wah clav start it out.
2:50 - Clav solo and trying to feel the groove.
4:28 - End solo into a variation on the riff.
5:00 - Modulate up minor third to Bbmin.
5:26 - Modulate up another minor third to Dbmin.
5:45 - Up another minor third to Emin.
6:05 - I screw up resolving to the original key.
6:25 - Hammond solo.
7:10 - Ooh, nice and funky.
7:43 - Original riff. Not much of an ending to the solo.
8:00 - New riff.
8:20 - Experimenting with a new syncopated upbeat feel.
10:10 - Sustained chords creating tension with the 6 scale degree every other bar. Hinting at the 4 chord (C).
10:55 - Cool syncopated outside riff.
11:50 - Clav back in to try to fit in.
12:20 - I move to the Hammond and the wurly and play around with chord changes.
13:00 - Nice bass line change. A small left hand solo.
14:00 - New riff and experimentation.
15:00 - Cool funky polka idea.
15:25 - Nice turnaround.
15:35 - Original riff. Hammond and wah wah clav.
