Songwriter, Recording Artist, and Blogging Musician
2007 was the year of social networking. Twitter occupied most of time which led to much less blogging. But 2007 was not without its controversies and celebrations. Read on…
In this episode I test recording on the iPod with my Belkin TuneTalk adapter on the way to the gym.
I love the new iWeb! It’s one of a million reasons to buy a Mac. The new iLife suite is so much fun. Sure, iWeb isn’t as flexible as WordPress but it’s so easy and sexy that it’s hard not to play with.
I’ve been hacking this auto-journal script for a while and I’ve recently settled on using a local install of WordPress combined with AppleScript and Quicksilver. It’s really pretty easy.
Follow MacZealots’ tutorial on Installing WordPress on Tiger. If you have any trouble along the way, you might need to check out Mac OS X Server 10.4.4: [...]
As bloggers, we tend to do the same repetitive tasks over and over again. We open the same URLs. We launch the same apps. We ftp, we search Technorati, we comment, we do this day in and day out. The 80/20 rule would tell us that creating content in the form of blog posts, [...]

With the help of a quick Google search and the expertise of Remy, Robin, and Brett, I was able to Hack TextMate and Wordpress to work together. I even ended up making Ecto more functional than it ever has been.
Looks like I’ve got a new blog editor.
Google just released this statement today:
We ask that publishers not line up images and ads in a way that suggests a relationship between the images and the ads. If your visitors believe that the images and the ads are directly associated, or that the advertiser is offering the exact item found in the neighboring image, [...]
I’m watching the NCAA Final Four and setting up this blog on WordPress. And now that I’m ready to write my first post, the question is “what categories will I create for this blog?”
Which got me thinking about categories in general. WordPress makes you define categories for your blog posts. It’s not hard to do [...]
I'm a songwriter and recording artist who sings, plays keyboards, and explores the vast world of sound hoping to find some magical moments along the way. I'm also a Mac geek.
