New Macbook Pro

I love the new iWeb! It’s one of a million reasons to buy a Mac. The new iLife suite is so much fun. Sure, iWeb isn’t as flexible as WordPress but it’s so easy and sexy that it’s hard not to play with.

My New Method Of Automated Journaling

I’ve been hacking this auto-journal script for a while and I’ve recently settled on using a local install of WordPress combined with AppleScript and Quicksilver. It’s really pretty easy.
Follow MacZealots’ tutorial on Installing WordPress on Tiger. If you have any trouble along the way, you might need to check out Mac OS X Server 10.4.4: [...]

Guess What… I’m Blogging This From Quicksilver Using AppleScript

Now this is an awesome Blogging hack. It’s not that flexible. I can’t choose categories or add excerpts but the novelty of it is just plain cool.
Plus, I tend to be more of an article writer and not so much of an off-the-cuff blogger like Scoble or Winer. Twitter has given me a voice for [...]

Top 10 Twitter DOs and DON’Ts

You’ve got a blog. You’ve got email, SMS, and IM. These are great tools for communication. Email and text messaging are two-way conversations. Blogging is mostly a one-to-many conversation. But what about something in-between? Twitter is part micro-blog, part instant message, and can fill the need for short public and personal broadcasts.
If you’ve been thinking [...]

TextMate Is My New Wordpress Editor

With the help of a quick Google search and the expertise of Remy, Robin, and Brett, I was able to Hack TextMate and Wordpress to work together. I even ended up making Ecto more functional than it ever has been.
Looks like I’ve got a new blog editor.

Google just released this statement today:

Defining My Integral Self

I’m watching the NCAA Final Four and setting up this blog on WordPress. And now that I’m ready to write my first post, the question is “what categories will I create for this blog?”
Which got me thinking about categories in general. WordPress makes you define categories for your blog posts. It’s not hard to do [...]
